  • Author: Thomas
  • Total Time: 55-60 minutes

Description

This Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake is a quick and easy dessert that combines the delicious flavors of strawberry, cheesecake, and cake all in one pan. The creamy cheesecake layer, paired with sweet strawberry pie filling and a golden cake topping, creates a mouthwatering treat that everyone will love. Plus, it’s a breeze to make!

Ingredients

• 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
• 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
• 8 oz cream cheese, softened
• ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• ½ cup sour cream

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.

2️⃣ Make the cream cheese mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, melted butter, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar. Beat together until smooth and creamy.

3️⃣ Layer the strawberry filling: Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

4️⃣ Add the cream cheese layer: Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry pie filling, spreading it as evenly as possible.

5️⃣ Top with cake mix: Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer. Do not stir—it will bake into a beautiful crumbly topping.

6️⃣ Bake the cake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

7️⃣ Cool and serve: Let the cake cool slightly before serving. For an extra touch of richness, top with a dollop of sour cream before enjoying!

Notes

  • Customize it: Feel free to use other fruit pie fillings, like blueberry or cherry, for a different twist.

  • Serving suggestion: This cake is delicious on its own, but you can also serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of whipped cream for added indulgence!

  • Storage: Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Just reheat slightly before serving for the best taste.
